For Moms
Becoming a new mother can sometimes feel like an emotional roller coaster. Many new moms feel like it should be a joyful and happy time, so when moms experience unexpected feelings of anxiety, sadness, guilt, depression, and anger they often feel confused and overwhelmed. It is not unusual for most moms to feel tearful and blue for a few days after the birth of a baby, but if these feelings don’t go away, a new mother may be experiencing a Postpartum Mood Disorder (PMD).
